Work from an exported 3D file when you want Visoid to become the place where you compose cameras, build context and prepare several reusable views.

Level: Intermediate · Time: About 12 minutes
Prerequisite: Work with 3D models: direct upload or plugin

A clean source model is quicker to upload, easier to navigate and less likely to contain distracting geometry.
Before exporting:

A visualization model does not need every construction detail. Keep the elements that define the silhouette, openings, principal materials and visible interior or landscape context.

Visoid accepts GLTF, GLB, DAE, OBJ, FBX, STL and PLY. The upload panel displays the current file-size limit.
| Format | Good choice when | Keep in mind |
|---|---|---|
| GLB | You want a convenient single-file transfer with geometry and supported materials together | Usually the simplest general-purpose starting point |
| GLTF | Your application exports glTF and its related resources | Include any accompanying texture or binary files when prompted |
| FBX or DAE | Your modeling application uses these as its normal interchange format | Check scale, orientation and material transfer after import |
| OBJ | You need a widely supported geometry exchange | Keep the MTL and texture files together with the OBJ |
| STL or PLY | The geometry is more important than the material setup | You may need to establish the visual direction later in Visoid |
