Hi!
In this tutorial we are deep diving into the world of input images with some examples and best practices to get you started quickly on your projects. Don’t waste time, jump right to the relevant section!
Think about the AI behind Visoid as kid with a colouring book. Every time you upload a new image, Visoid estimates what the image is about and “paints” something within the given outlines. With the input image, you can define your building, surroundings, composition and even material and material direction (for a cladding for example). The better the outlines are, the easier to follow it, the less, more option to run wild and free.
Visoid is a very flexible tool when it comes to input images and settings. These are 4 examples which works best for the Visoid team:
Note, it will always worth experimenting with the setting as every project is unique!
When rendering from a simple3d model, you can achieve a very good quality, while greatly reducing the needed on modelling, texturing and lighting compared to traditional endering solutions.
You can achieve the best output by setting up your 3d view with:

Input detail level: Textured (or in some cases Detailed, depending on the quality of your materials)
Input image blend: fine tune it between 0.8-0.95 depending the quality of your textures
Geometrical freedom: 1.0 or 1.2, depending on the quality of your scene, like trees for example. A higher value let’s Visoid replace simple tree models with more detailed ones.
