In this short article you can learn how to set up your Sketchup model to get the most out of Visoid.

Good input image for Visoid
Visoid is an AI-powered rendering application offering a groundbreaking approach to creating architectural visualizations. Instead of relying on extensive setup for materials, lighting, and rendering every pixel of a building, Visoid leverages an advanced AI model trained on a vast dataset of images. By interpreting the desired final outcome and using your model as a guide, Visoid intelligently generates visualizations that perfectly align with your vision.
AI rendering is more flexible than traditional rendering, but it's not magic—it still needs quality input. Visoid can add details and enhance textures and lighting, but with too little information, the outcome won't match your vision. Think of Visoid as a very smart coloring book, where you provide information about shapes and textures to the AI "artist" doing the coloring.
The key aspects of a good input are:

As a rule of thumb: everything you don’t define is up to the AI engine to make up, and everything which you don’t wish to render should be hidden.

Everything starts with a good camera angle and composition. Choose a camera angle similar to architectural photography: human eye level camera, straight vertical lines. Make the image emotional, you don’t need to show everything. Leave the big, overview illustrations for diagrams!

It’s often recommended to straighten out the vertical lines when rendering buildings. You can do so by choosing the “Two-point perspective” option from the “Camera” menu.
